PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Dennis Seidenberg scored twice and Kirby Law had a goal
and an assist as the Philadelphia Phantoms downed the Portland Pirates, 3-1,
on Sunday. Seidenberg netted a goal in both the first and second periods,
giving him six goals and 13 points in 20 games this season. Law set up the
first-period tally by Seidenberg and registered his team-leading fourth
power-play marker midway through the third for a three-goal lead. Neil Little
evened his record at 5-5-0 with 22 saves for Philadelphia, which has won four
straigth for the first time this year. Maxime Ouellet, originally taken in the
first round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft by the Flyers, surrendered three goals
on 31 shots in the loss, dropping his record to 5-9-0. Mike Pudlick had the
lone goal for Portland, which fell to 2-7-0-1 on the road.
