PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Mike Peluso had a hat trick and four points for the
Philadelphia Phantoms in a decisive 6-2 victory over the Lowell Lock Monsters
on Friday. Peluso registered a power-play goal in the second period, scored
twice with 9:44 left in the third and set up a man-advantage tally by Mark
Murphy late in regulation to cap the scoring. Murphy added a pair of assists
and Peter White had four assists for Philadelphia, which set a season high
with six goals-scored. Antero Niittymaki turned aside 24 of the 26 shots he
faced to pick up the win. Dany Sabourin gave up six goals on 25 shots over the
second and third periods to take the loss. Jason Morgan and Brad Fast each
scored for Lowell, which fell to 2-4-0 on the road this year.
