PHILADELPHIA, PA (at Center) -- Cam Severson had a goal and two assists for the
Cincinnati Mighty Ducks in a 5-3 victory over the Philadelphia Phantoms at the
Wachovia Center on Wednesday. Severson, who made his NHL debut with Anaheim
last year, helped Mike Mottau opened the scoring 24 seconds into the contest,
gave his team a 3-1 lead early in the second and set up an empty-net tally by
Joel Stepp in the third. Mottau and Stepp each added an assist and Eddy Ferhi
made 34 saves for Cincinnati, which has won six of its last nine games. Neil
Little, who was pulled after the second period, gave up four goals on 19 shots
in defeat. Patrick Sharp registered a goal and an assist for Philadelphia,
which has lost seven of its last 10.
