PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Rob Collins scored twice and finished with three points for
the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in a decisive 6-2 victory over the Philadelphia
Phantoms on Sunday. Collins set a shorthanded marker by Martin Kariya late in
the second period and netted the only two goals of the third period, giving him
four goals and seven points in 11 games. Kariya added an assist and Jeff
Hamilton registered two goals for Bridgeport, which improved to 5-0-1-1 since
October 19. Wade Dubielewicz made 19 saves to pick up the win, raising his
record to 3-2-0. Antero Niittymaki was charged for six goals on 31 shots in
defeat. Patrick Sharp tallied his third goal in as many games and Dennis
Seidenberg had a goal for Philadelphia, which was held to two goals for the
first time in its last five games.
