HERSHEY, PA -- Kirby Law scored on the power play with 13 seconds left in
overtime to give the Philadelphia Phantoms a 3-2 victory over the Hershey
Bears on Saturday. With D.J. Smith serving a minor penalty for interference,
Law put a pass from Dennis Deidenberg behind goaltender Peter Budaj for his
first game-winning tally of the season. Patrick Sharp evened the score at 2-2
midway through the third period, Freddy Meyer netted his first professional
goal and Neil Little stopped 29 shots for Philadelphia, which has won three
straight after losing the previous five. Budaj turned aside a season-high 40
shots in the loss. Steve Moore and Ryan Craig each had a goal for Hershey,
which fell to 1-2-1 when tied after regulation.
