Binghamton Senators 3, Philadelphia Phantoms 2 (OT)

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Julien Vauclair scored with over a minute left in overtime
as the Binghamton Senators edged the Philadelphia Phantoms, 3-2, on Sunday.
Vauclair, who heled Cory Pecker even the score at 2-2 on the power play early
in the third period, beat goaltender Antero Niittymaki to give his team its
fourth overtime victory this season. Pecker chipped in with an assist and Brad
Tapper had a goal and an assist for Binghamton. Ray Emery stopped 22 shots
between the second and third periods and finished with 39 saves for the win.
Niittymaki made 24 saves in defeat. Kirk Furey recorded a goal and an assist
for Philadelphia, which had its season-high six-game winning streak snapped. 1
