PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Kirby Law recorded two goals as the Philadelphia Phantoms
continued their dominance over Hershey with a 4-1 victory, beating the Bears
for the 11th time this season. Law established a 3-0 lead early in the third
period and capped the scoring with an empty-netter, helping his club outscore
Hershey by a count of 44-12 this year. The two teams will face off for the
12th and final time this Sunday when the Bears host their final game of the
regular season. Antero Niittymaki turned aside 35 of the 36 shots he faced to
raise his record to 23-12-6 for Philadelphia, which tied a season high with
five consecutive wins. Philippe Sauve gave up two goals on seven second-period
shots and finished with 18 saves in defeat. Martin Hlinka had the lone goal
for Hershye, which has lost four straight and six of its last seven. 1
