PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Kirby Law had a goal and an assist for the Philadelphia
Phantoms in a 3-1 victory over the Manchester Monarchs on Sunday. Law helped
Peter White break a 1-1 tie on the power play midway through the second period
and netted his ninth man-advantage tally early in the third. White chipped in
with an assist and James Laux added his second goal in as many games for
Philadelphia, which has won three straight for the second time this month. Neil
Little turned aside 19 of the 20 shots he faced to raise his record to 20-12-0.
Milan Hnilicka made 27 saves in the loss. Denis Grebeshkov had the lone goal
for Manchester, which has held to one goal for the first time in its last five
games.
