MANCHESTER, NH -- Yanick Lehoux had goal and an assist for the Manchester
Monarchs in a 3-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phantoms on Saturday. Lehoux
evened the score at 1-1 early in the second period and helped Sam Ftorek break
the tie with just under three minutes gone in the third. Jerred Smithson added
a goal and Mathieu Chouinard turned aside 26 shots for Manchester, which has
won five straight. Antero Niittymaki surrendered two goals on nine third-period
shots and ended with 25 saves in defeat. Boyd Kane netted the only goal for
Philadelphia, which has lost seven of its last 13 road games.
