PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Sebastien Caron registered his first shutout of the season
as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins blanked the Philadelphia Phantoms, 2-0,
on Wednesday. Caron turned aside 23 shots between the second and third periods
and finished with 30 saves to pick up the win. Patrick Boileau had a goal and
an assist for Wilkes-Barre, which held an opponent scoreless for the third time
this season. Antero Niittymaki made 20 saves in the loss for Philadelphia,
which has dropped four of its last five.
