According to one cartoon in The New Yorker, he becomes a monk�Brother Elvis. According to a Far Side cartoon, he joins Salman Rushdie in hiding. My personal favorite is the suggestion that Elvis has become an Elvis impersonator. The Dallas Morning News has calculated that there are currently 8,029 Elvis impersonators in the world, and that at the present rate of increase, by the year 2037 one in five of the world�s population will be Elvis impersonators. What better way for the king to remain incognito? Laughing.................YEAH RIGHT!!!! .......OK!!! On January 12, 1973 While in Hawaii ,Elvis was handed a crown,and the fan saying "You Are The King" Elvis replied " No!!!! I am not a king,Jesus Christ Is The True King" I personally watched Elvis's Last Concert..........I could tell just how much he loved Jesus by the way he sang How Great Thou Art,And I am sure if he were alive today? he would not approve of these fans worshipping him like this. I would have to say : Elvis Presley is and always shall be : The Greatest Entertainer Known In The World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like all of us............ we have our faults,and Elvis Presley was not exempt from this, Unlike his ADORING FANS, he knew who the Real King is,and talked to him Everyday. On August 16,1977.... WE lost a great entertainer,and there have been stories,upon stories of how Elvis died reading a porn magazine,or he died tring to take a bowel movment and strained so hard ,it threw him into a heart attack. Let me tell you this,: Elvis Presley was a very ill person ,who didn't know who his true friends were,being betrayed by three of them which of whom he had grown up with,they tried to help him the only way they could, by writing a book,because they were terminated from the payroll ,and had no way of support for themselves,nor their family and tried to help Elvis and at the same time help themselves make a living after being Elvis's sole bodyguards for so many years and depending on Elvis like so many did..............and STILL DO! However,I can't think of a fanclub who have been more loyal,or have a better demeanor,but at the same time,be so insane (ELVIS IS NOT GOD!!!!!) and almost forgetting what Elvis stood for,The poor,The humble ,and the countless charitable organizations he contributed to,without hesitation, he bought his own ticket to his own show in Aloha From Hawaii,because it was for a charity, A CAUSE! I asked several Elvis fans........"who were the closest relatives who had passed recently?",They chose Mom,Dad, Brother,Sister,Uncle,Aunt..............(NONE KNEW THE CAUSE,EXACT DATE) However I asked them "When did Elvis Presley die? .................They........... everyone gave me the exact time ,date ,cause,what he was wearing,where he went that fatal night,............(you would think they were there with him on August 15,1977) "IMAGINE:"............If we had as many Jesus Impersonators: ..................09-11-01 probably would have never happened, NO WARS!, NO RACIAL DIVIDERS, NO VIOLENCE.......NO CAUSE FOR INJUSTICE..............! I MEAN WE COULD GO ON AND ON ABOUT THIS. All of this is great ,but we all forgot .........Who Gave Elvis Presley This Gift? ..........I think Elvis said it better than anyone. "Ladies and gentlemen," Along with the gentlemen to my right ,all agree,about the kingdom of heaven,"without a song,the road would never bend,Without a song many got a friend,Without a song a day would never end,without a song...........so I keep singing the song.........Thank you and God BlessYou" Elvis Presley passed away August 16,1977 ,He is not lurking in McDonalds,Burger King,or living in hiding somewhere,waiting for this glorious moment to come back and surprise the world, so sit back and relax,and enjoy your Elvis albums,cd's or be like me and be glad you were in the time of the birth of rock and roll,and seen it rock. So all you freaks, Elvis wannabe's, take your capes off,and enjoy your children, your wives and husbands, because the true KING IS COMING ,who died on a wooden cross,and on that day.......When the clouds open up and that GREAT AWESOME POWER steps down, turning morning into night to call us home,Trust Me...............
