I hope you will find beauty in the work because that is what I strive for above all. I disagree with the current view that beauty in art is irrelevant. As you will see my works are pretty uncomplicated although sometimes they do not necessarily adhere to the 400 year old rule that a painting must be flat and rectangular.
On this first page are the works that have been completed in the past 18 months.
As you see, I have recently I have returned to painted sculpture in a small way. Thirty years ago at the National Art School, my sculpture teacher frowned on colour, so I switched to Painting and Printmaking majors where colour was acceptable. For me colour has always been as important as form.
