There are many pictures that I would like to eventually put on here. However, for the time being, these will suffice. They are some of my favorites.
In the early 1980's, my sister was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY with the 101st Airborne. My parents and I used to make the trip to visit her often. This picture, taken on one such trip, is of me, at 4 years old, sitting in the cockpit of a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter.
This picture was taken about the same time as the one above. I actually remember this picture being taken. I am standing outside of my sister's barracks at Ft. Campbell with her helmet and M-16.
All through my childhood, I wanted nothing more than to be a soldier when I grew up. This is me when I was 4 years old dressed as a soldier with my toy
M-16.
I grew up on a farm in northwest Missouri. This picture was taken when I was 21 months old. My dad had just butchered a hog, and here I am sitting on the kitchen table playing with its head!
During the 6 years that I was incarcerated I was blessed to receive visits from my parents whenever they could make it. The trip was 16 hours one way for them. This is us on one of those visits in April of 2003.

And John Steinbeck wrote that, The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.
How apt. This is a picture of my first love and I. Her name was Barbara. The picture was taken in downtown Indianapolis in May of 2007. We were engaged. It was not meant to be
