As you look over this site, please think about something. Who is Jesus Christ? Not who does history say that He is, or who does your friends or family say He is, or even who the Church down the street says He is. No, the question that I would ask of you is this: who is He to you? Many will say that He was a good man who did many good works. They are only partially right. Jesus Christ was more than a man; He was God come to earth to redeem man and make man right with Himself. Was (is) Jesus God or was He a liar? Think carefully about the answer to this question. It has the weight of eternity behind it. Do not think to yourself that you will look into this matter later because we do not know the day nor the hour of our death. God commands us to repent of our sins and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, to live a life of obedience. Humans have an average lifespan of 70 years. Are you going to live for 70 years in pleasure for yourself only to spend eternity in Hell? Or are you going to give up a life of temporary pleasure and live in obedience to God and be granted an eternity in Heaven? Whether you accept Jesus� Lordship in your life now or not, all will eventually bow down to Him. Philippians 2:10-11 says: �That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.� Acts 17:30-31 tells us this: �Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.� God does not wish to send anyone to Hell. It is our choice. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us: �The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.� Do not count on your �good works� to get you into Heaven. You need a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Good works should be a result of your faith in, and relationship with, Jesus. Jesus said it Himself. �I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father, but by Me.� So, was (is) Jesus God, or was He a liar? When you die, you will stand before Jesus. Now, for everyone on earth, He will be Judge and Jury. There is no choice in that matter. One thing that you do have a choice in � will Jesus Christ the Lord be your Executioner and send you into the lake of fire, or will He be your Lawyer, your Savior, and send you on into Heaven with a �Well done My good and faithful servant�? The choice is yours. I will be praying for each and every person who visits this site.
