            A.  Hosanna!  (Save Now, We Pray!)

            B.  Ps 118:25 – Psalm of thanksgiving for deliverance from an enemy. They wanted a military and political leader to deliver them from the oppression of Rome.

            C.  Jesus sits on a donkey – Symbol of humility and peace, not conquest.  Jesus came to liberate from them from the oppression of sin.

 

II.  His Ministry

III.  His Betrayal and Arrest (Jn 18:1-11)

            B.  They All Fall Down – Display of His Divine power/He voluntarily delivered Himself.
