WILLY WOMAN #1 September, 1978
Cover: John Beers Editor and Story/Art: Scot Mills

Where to start with this one. 'Curti Girl' was an MC character created earlier in 1978, a goofy, effeminate mama's boy (would have his own feature in Silver City Comics a year later). Rich Meffley, who made a few titles on his own before his association with MC, made a rip-off character and named him 'Willy Woman'. Meffley's books never got the popularity he had hoped for, and when he signed on with MC later in the year, Scot Mills adopted Willy and was responsible for the five or six issues of the sometimes controversial series than ran through the Spring of 1979 (See the Reference Guide for an interesting note regarding this).
