The 'stylization' of Beers' art for MC during the 'school' phase (1978-1981) pretty much maxes out late in the Spring of 1980, with or without the aid of Biphetamine Sulfate. Number 18 finishes the violent story from last issue by re-introducing (for the final time ever) the 'Super Student', a neo-hero who pretty much flew beneath MC's radar for most of the second series, and has roots with Rich Meffley from much further back. This issue is all Beers, and to his credit, the storyline is solid - better executed and disciplined than (most of the time) his art in this issue.
