After Silver City Comics was revived with issue #3 in September, 1979, it never ran book-length stories. Rather, a second feature always followed the Curti headliner, with some short sketches thrown in between (Robert Nixon's Hungry Jerk series was one of the all-time favorites). "We're Going to Auschwitz" started as a one-pager by Beers and Mills in issue #3 (when Beers didnt even know how to spell the place) and in #4 was expanded as the book's secondary feature. After following a weak storyline by Beers for five issues, the feature ended appropriately as an historical recounting of the true location and the legacy of the Auschwitz Vernichtungslager. Up-to-date, relevant material which was likewise educational was seldom seen in MC's of the period, and this last installment of "We're Going to Auschwitz" is a rare example of such.
