Our Dear School Comics #32, June, 1981

The Cover to probably the most poignant, relevant, and (by the way) best-written of all Beers Super Teach stories. John knew that this would be the last issue for a while: teenage angst was crowding out his more creative processes. So, in a powerful, clean delivery, we get to see the fate of Our Dear School as we leave it behind (for a while) in 1981: New nemesis Dr. Lawless defends her domain, the maturing class gets along with the status quo until ironically deciding that, in spite of her own crimes, Super Teach must be freed and restored to her position. A predictably tragic outcome forms the climax of the tale. What now? Unfortunately, faithful readers had to wait several more years before John would fill in the details, giving some basis to the story of what Our Dear School , and MC Comics in general, would become.
