OUR DEAR SCHOOL COMICS #2,
November-December, 1977

Well, a second issue of Our Dear School Comics did appear, not a likely occurence in the wandering MC Comic Land of One-Shot Maybes of the day. The issue was notable in many ways; new artist Scot Mills enjoyed contributing to the first issue so he was more than happy to embellish this story. Also important to MC bibliophiles, this was the only comic in ODSC's 35 issue run which headlined anything other than the Super Teach ("The School Textbook"). The idea of school parody comics, just like the Super Teach character herself, was still embryonic, and no better example of this is found than in the pages of this issue - hastily drawn on coarse bond paper while enroute during a field trip to Miami, late in 1977.
