Splash Page for MC Collectors Edition #1

Although his strength lay in his notable science fiction works, Greg Geuss actually got interested in MC Comics by reading the crazy, irreverent Adventures of John and Scot series. Thus, when the opportunity arose for Greg and John to draw a story together, the choice of subject was automatic. Even though the story wasn't finished, the book was released over the Summer of 1980. No other title was available to feature the story in, so John Beers simply created a new one, MC Collector's Series, which would have only one following issue later that year. Long after the years of comic publishing had passed and John and Scot had settled into varying degrees of domesticity, the two never really parted ways and a series of 'old-times' drunken dinner gatherings throughout 1987 occasioned the material which would finish the Greg Geuss/John Beers story and eventually be released as another, updated edition to the July, 1980 issue. Years older and without any form of school restriction on content, their story work was blatantly obscene the second time around.
