There are special times in our lives that we expect to share with our closest family and dearest friends. However, sometimes those family and friends cannot be with us. Sometimes friends move far away. Sometimes loved ones are called away to heaven by their Creator.
Tonight is a special night for John and Loreene and Eric. Unfortunately, several very special people in their lives could not be here with us tonight. But they are here with us in spirit.
John and Loreene would like to take a few moments to reflect on those who could not be here tonight but who had an unmistakeable part in bringing them to this night together.
The ushers will come by and light the candles of those of you seated nearest the aisle. Pass the candlelight to those beside you until we have filled the whole church with the light and love of our memories and a symbol of the spirits that have brought John and Loreene together.
