Do I have stooories. . .Kate: called me "adjective queen", which was one of the only real compliments I have received in my life; she was also the first person ffrom whom I heard the heinous Loreena "bob it" Bobbit story first(it had happened on her way t the airport to visit us). And let us never forget her *superfabulous fashion sense*. John: epistolary hero, calligraphy king AND the adjective emperor, surpassing me by far; also, I will never forget spending 8 hours making 11,000,000 spring rolls from s ratch with him--the "peanut butter and jelly sandwich of Asia" as he called them to persuade us. I have pictures of the event and will send them when I dig them up.

Julie - this is really a good idea. Though I met both John and Kate but a few short times, they made a lasting impression. Remember Christmas in Lausanne with John? And you were really all a fun-ness bunch in Paris. I recall walking down Champs-Elysees wi h John hopping beside me pretending to be a Curmudgeon... Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Julie, it all brought back how much we love and miss John and Kate. The rememberance of the wonderful sacrifice Kate made to care and love John during his last days and your support and caring for both of them.
