| A trip to Fort Davis, Alpine and Big Bend is really a treat and made all the more special when our Daughter brings her family to join us. We have camped in this area at Davis Mountains State Park and many of the private campgrounds. Horseback riding, star parties at McDonald's Observatory, mountain climbing and just being a tourist. We find this area to be a great place to visit. a |

| Dottie, John, Margaret and Ken in beautiful luxurious Lajitas on the Rio Grande. It is adjacent to Big Bend National Park but the entrance to the park is 20 miles east via Terlingua, the Big Bend Motor Inn and RV Park, and Study Butte. All, in our eyes, very beautiful. Be aware though that I overheard another tourist in the lobby of a local motel saying "Why would anybody send me to this God forsaken place?"
