In the name of God Amen I John Adam Fogler of the County of Nelson & State of Kentucky being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and constitute this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, Towit, first I recommend my soul to Almighty God that gave it & my body to be deasently buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named first I Will and bequeath to my Son Robt H Fogler six Shillings Item I will and bequeath to my daughter Rebeccah Fogler the sum of six shillings Item I Will & bequeath to my daughter Diana Fogler One Negro Girl Charity One bed & furniture, & bedstead, half her mothers Wearing Apparel and one Chest. I also Will and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Fogler one Negro boy Ben & one half of of her mothers wearing apparel. I also Will and bequeath to my daughter Ann three Negroes named Wick, Cloe, & Harry I will and bequeath to my two Sons Joseph & Christian Foglers all my lands to be equailly divided between them but be it known that my other two Sons are to have the rents for the first fore years arising from sd lands Namely my Son John A Fogler & William Mckelvey Fogler
I also bequeath One Negro Man named Ned to my Sons John & William Fogler & his line also
to be eaquilly divided between them & also the sum of (blank) to be eaquilly divided between them Item I also in addition to my son Christian Fogler I will him one Negro Girl named Rachael. Also my Will & desire is that Jacob beem Sr. keep my daughter Ann & her property And also, I will all the Wrest of my Children to John Hammet whome I appoint the sd Beem & Hammet whole & sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoaking all former Will or Wills by me heretofore made In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my Seal this 6th day of December Eighteen hundred and fore.
