My Bio

Well, If you really want to hear me, here I am. I was born central Jersey, so like everyone who has grown up in this great area I am impatient. It is funny because I go to upstate NY and everyone is so layed back. Anyway, I went to Piscataway High School and graduated in '96. I am currently a junior at Cornell University. I love it here at school. Besides being here with the love of my love, there are other things to love here as well. Ithaca, NY is beautiful. The lake, the gorges, the campus architecture and the mountains surrounding the town make this one of the most beautiful campuses around. I didn't believe it could be as beautiful as they say, but boy is it. Cornell is a great school. Classes are cool for me the Premed English major and I like it here a lot. The common question I get is why english? Well, I love to write poetry and short stories. If anyone actually sees this web page and is interested in seeing my work, let me know. |

Some people say I am good at it but there is no way I can judge my own writing. I hope I am good. But I guess all that really matters is that I enjoy writing. And enjoy writing I definitely do. Another reasonÊI chose English is because I enjoy all of the non creative writing courses as well as the creative writing courses. I want to be a doctor, too. But, if I were to not get into medical school I don't think I would be too upset. There are many things in life I want to do, no reason to get depressed over something like that. I am worked at Dunn and Bradstreet in Murray Hill, New Jersey before school started. I worked the phones and consulted for the computer help desk. It was a good job and I made great money. The people there are really nice and helpful and don't mind teaching me things and answering questions. The Murray Hill facility is unbelievably beautiful. Come see it at 1 Diamond Rd. Murray Hill, NJ. I am currently working for the Office of Distance Learning here at CU. I am helping set up the video conferencing rooms and I sit in the control and make sure nothing goes wrong. It is cool and I work with cool people. It is cutting edge technology so that rules.I have a brother named Timothy who is currently a Junior at Piscataway High School. He is great and we have always gotten along. My parents are great too, they have given the world to me with a smile, I just hope someday I can do as well with my kids as they have with theirs. I have a kitten that my girlfriend and I have adopted, his name is Midnight, and he is the cutest kitten you will ever see. I want to scan in a picture some day. The love of my life is Andrea Suzanne Clark, she wishes to be a veterinarian soon and I believe that she will be a great one, she has the heart and the skills needed. I have a bunch of friends that I could mention but I will get links to there web pages and they will be happy. :-) | |

My Writing |

Well, I have been writing for a while now. I wrote a short story in high school that I don't think I can find anymore. I wish I still had it, it may be buried in a box somewhere. Then there is the poem that I lost from high school, too. Oh well, I will live. I have written many poems over the last year and a half and some short stories and a play or two. I don't know how goodÊI am, the people who read them seem to like them, but all that matters is that I enjoy it. If I get published then that would be cool. If I make money from it than it would be an added bonus. But I enjoy the writing, I just hope that other people enjoy my writing too. If anyone actually reads this web page and is interested in anything I have written, let me know and email me. |

I love music. I have tried playing guitar after I bought myself one a year a go, but I have had a hard time because I am too impatient. But, besides that, I consider myself a lover of music. From opera to rap to hard rock to classic rock, I love it all. My girlfriend has even made me tolerant of country. I own around 200 CDs now, and the pile is growing. I don't think of myself as someone who just collects CDs, though. I know a lot of people that buy a CD for one song or that buy singles. No way, not me. I think to really like a band you must like more than one song on a CD, why only be a flake that listens to that "top 40" song? But we won't get into people who go to concerts just to hang out and have no interest in the band or bands present. My girlfriend, friends of mine, andÊI went to see Jewel at the Finger Lakes Performing Arts Center and we sat on the lawn. Little teenage girls were walking around the lawn and chatting and getting in the way. It was quite annoying. Other concerts I have seen are: |

I do wish I could have gone to some more concerts this summer, but this summer has been good to me in other ways so I don't have any complaints. Gave up a few opportunities to see Dave Matthew's Band and I also had a ticket to the Tibetan Freedom Concert but I had to work. Such is life. I enjoyed all of the concerts listed above. Adam Sandler was hilarious and DMB fulfilled my expectations and more. For entertainment at a good price at a good venue I would recommend going to a Horde or Lallapalooza like show at either of those venues. I prefer general admission where you can wander around and go practically on stage or sit in the back if you want. Plus you see tons of bands for the price of seeing one of them alone. Concerts do rock though. Shania Twain rocked. It was such a good show, she plays to the crowd so well and she is very entertaining. Pepsi Arena is a great venue. Also saw The Charlie Daniels Band. They were ok, but I just wanted to hear Devil Went Down to Georgia. It rocked. Well, on to my favorite bands. I would have to say that my favorite band is Dave Matthew's Band. From instrumentals to lyrics to on stage performance, they are the best band out there now. They are SO good live, it is unbelievable. So many great songs, 2 Step, Crush, Recently, Seek Up . . . the list goes on and on, although my least favorite song is Too much. I just do NOT like that song, although I don't hate it.ÊAll of their albums are good in my opinion. They are number one. Another band that I love that is up there with DMB is the Smashing Pumpkins. From Gish to Ava Adore they have rocked. Billy Corgan is brilliant, just brilliant. The lyrics are amazing and the sounds they produce are spell bounding. Hearing Cherub Rock live ruled at Lallapalooza. A lot of people judge them by the performance they gave on MTV video music awards a few years back because all Billy seemed to do was scream, but they are nothing like that on tour. Go see them if you can. I wish I could have seen them at Radio City Music Hall but I couldn't. I want to hear To Sheila live. I love that song. It is my favorite they sing, along with ...Said Sadly off of the Bullet With Butterfly single.

Other bands and people I really like are Billy Joel, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, the Beastie Boys, Seven Mary Three, Live, Bruce Springstein, Led Zeppelin . . .the list goes on and on. |

I love that monkey gif. Had to put in in. Anyway, people wonder why I use Aeneas as my nickname and handle and such. Well, for those of you who care it all started out freshmen year when I started, like the idiot that I was, playing Quake. I was taking a Greek Mythology class, of which I loved, at that time and I thought that Aeneas would be a great name. I had read the Aeneid of course, I thought that it was a great name for quake and one that was a cool reference to those educated enough to know. And it stuck. |
 Plays

I have seen a few plays in my short time on this planet. A.R. Gurney's (sp?) Sylvia is brilliant. The play is about Sylvia, a dog adopted by a family. I won't ruin it but Gurney characterizes the dog, played by a human, so well. Another great play is Tommy. I saw it off broadway and it was fabulous. Phantom of the Opera was wonderful also. I have seen an Irish adaptation of Romeo and Juliet at the Cornell playhouse. That was wonderful, too. Death of a Salesman was unbelievable. I saw that at the Cornell playhouse also. I love plays, they are so fun to watch and to see, as are musicals. I also saw Miss Saigon and it was great. Go see one if you can. |

I love reading. From classics like Canterbury Tales by Chaucer to Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time. I am looking forward to the English courses I am going to take over the next two years because I know I will enjoy reading what I will have to read.ÊI have read so many books, from kiddy books to books written in Spanish. I love literature and reading. Some great books of the nineties are The Wheel of Time, any of Steven King's books like It and The Stand, Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game books, Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, and many more. My favorite modern series of books, and epic in the making, is Steven King's Dark Tower. Rolande is the man. Read; nothing is better. | >
