The story behind the Intrusion

Part 2

The master plan...

Dan Dofogh
  - When it comes to letting you people in on this, I instantly hand the keybord over to my friend My. Here goes...

John

- I got an e-mail from John... he had found a competition, and he asked if it wasn't a splendid idea if we took part in it, and won. I followed the link he wrote, found Dan's contest, and agreed to what John had said.We started planning, John started writing, and I tried several times to explain to him the rules of the contest: no more than 500 words! Useless! Still unaware of the consequenses, I told him to just go on and write the story like he normally would, since we could always cut it down later. So he did....

When the story was finished, it was about 2500 words, and guess who was supposed to cut it down to 500? Yes, me.

But I couldn't do it just like that! I cut and I re-wrote, then called John to say that it wasn't possible, but that we at least had a new story for The Study. But John is more stubborn than any of you could imagine, and I soon became aware of the fact that he could be just as cruel to his story as he can be to his heroines! Together we finally managed to cut it down to 496 words, and send it over to Dan Dofogh.

What more is there to say? The rest is history....

My

Go on to the story and the pic!

- Looking around the internet for some fun, I stumbled across Dan Dofoghs site. Actually it is hard not to, since most of the big ones have him on their link pages. They also have samples of his work...

He made me realise that it's time to stop missing the Bishop and start longing for the next Dan Dofogh publishing. His artwork is awesome...

...And a part of it is mine! Ain't I lucky!

John, who has recieved the masterpiece and has it framed.
