Wedding Day Blues

(*The kids are now about 18 years old*)
Rhonda and her family walk in the door with suitcases. Rhonda just drops them where she is.
Rhonda: I am so glad we�re back to lackluster ol� Seattle! After our wonderful trip to Rome! I just have to see Sid! After so many weeks he should be totally sick of Nedine!
She picks up the phone and dials Sid�s number. His mom answers it.
S. Mom: Sorry, Sweetie. Sid�s not here. He went to pick up his tuxedo.
Rhonda: Oh�uh�thanks Ms. Martin. *Hangs up* Sid must be taking Nedine somewhere special and here I supposed he�d be fully sick of her. Well, I�ll soon stop this date!
She dials up Nedine. Her dad answers.
N. Dad: No Rhonda, Nedine�s not here. She�s down town at that Wedding Shop getting her gown.
Rhonda slams the phone into the receiver.
Rhonda: I won�t believe it! It�s impossible! Alright anything�s possible!!
She walks out the door.
Rhonda: Sid must have spent so much time with her that he decided to marry her!
Rhonda walks into the Wedding Shop.
Rhonda: Err-excuse me. Is Nedine Nelson here?
Manager: Nedine Nelson? Oh, the girl who got that expensive gown,
Rhonda: Expensive? I would have suspected the cheapest!
Manager: Oh, no! We gave her our very best! After all our reputation is riding on this occasion!
Rhonda goes home and the phone rings. It�s Arnold.
Arnold: Hey Rhonda! Nedine called and told me to remind you about the wedding-
She slams the phone down and runs out the door. Meanwhile on Arnold�s line.
Arnold: (While holding his dear) Sheesh! She just keeps getting ruder and ruder!
Rhonda: I�ve got to get there before it�s too late!
But on the way she accidentally runs into Stinky.
Stinky: *Groan* Oh, I see you�re back, Rhonda.
Rhonda: Sid!! Nedine! Where are they?
Stinky: At the church where they planned to be for a couple weeks now!! Have you finally snapped?
Rhonda: The church?! Aaahh!
Rhonda runs over to the church and flings the door open and shouts, �Stop the wedding!!�
The only person there is some lady.
Rhonda: Where is everybody?
Lady: I�d guess at the reception hall.
Rhonda: (Crying) I am too late!! It�s all my fault! I went away and so Nedine talked him into marrying her! Oh, the shame! Oh, the-
She walks in and Arnold and Helga, wearing wedding cloths walk onto the stage. Followed by Sid and Nedine.
Host: And for our final couple�Sid Martin and Nedine Nelson wearing our best cloths in the store.
Rhonda: I-It�s a fashion show?
Sid: He, Nedine look! It�s Rhonda! Hey, Rhonda!
Nedine sighs.
Rhonda: What is this all about Sid Martin?
Sid: The wedding fashion show is tomorrow night, remember? And they asked all the eighteen year-olds to model remember? This is the rehearsal.
Nedine: You didn�t forget and think we were really getting married, did you Rhonda?
Rhonda: Don�t be silly! What would give you an idea like that? *Wink*
