Christmas Day Storm Dec 25th 2002
Christmas Day 2002 brought a nasty nor'easter to New England, the first measureable snowfall in almost 30 years on a Christmas day!  This storm brought almost 17 inches of snowfall to Bedford, NH, below are a few of the photographs I took that evening and the following morning.
The Nor'easter batters the back porch
Christmas lights under the snow
Ever since I was a kid, I've always enjoyed the look of christmas lights illuminating the snow, finally, I got a picture of it!  Taken the night of the storm from my front yard.
This was a photo taken of the back deck while the storm was raging.  Note the north and east sides of the porch are covered in snow, indicative of the winds coming from the North-east.

Ames Pond
The morning after.  I measured 16.5" of snow, but we were actually just south of the mutherload, Peterborough got 23" from this storm.  I suspect my front yard won't see green until Alletta's 7th bday! I took this photo as I pulled into work, this is overlooking Ames Pond right outside of the 133/Met office park rotary.
