Snowmobiling and Sledding Feb 2004
The last good snowmobiling weekend of the year treated us well.  Up until Sunday afternoon, the conditions were mint.  The girls and I stayed up late each night as we had lots of people come by for some stargazing and sledding.
Mancamp hill!
On the left, the girls on the sled overlooking sugarloaf.  This picture was taken in Jay on the way to Steve's market for a lunchtime treat.  On the right, that's little Laura loo helping to break a trail coming down the mancamp hill.  This sledding got interesting around midnight...

The refractor on the square
I set the refractor up on the square so I could photograph comet T7, I still don't know if those pics came out or not, that was a beast to find.  Turns out, over the course of a couple of evenings, lots of people came by to view the moon, Saturn and Jupiter.  On the right, that's Laura loo and Alletta Blue zipping down the hill.  That tube was to be no more, about 6 hours after this photo was taken.

Stephie and Pete
Some friday night Sledding!  That's Stephie-baby and Laura loo after a rough ride down the hill.  Poor little Laura loo had just taken a face full of snow.  However, that face full of snow could not compete with the tangle mass of bodies on the right, that's Stephie baby and Mr. Pete becoming one with the snowcover.

Me and Dave
That's dave and I, clearly, twins seperated at birth.  That's the space shuttle thingey on the right, Mike had his daughters in there for Saturday's ride.  Dave decided it looked comfy and took a ride to L&R for a beer run.
Party at Pete and Steph's!

So what do you do after a good long hard ride on a Saturday afternoon up at the lake?  Why you head over to Pete and Steph's house of course!  The kids were all having a blast down in the basement while we tended to the bar.  That's Stephie baby and Vicky in the space shuttle on their way to L&R.
