Manfest 2003, Chesterville, Maine |
The fourth annual Manfest gathering in Chesterville Maine, at Mancamp of course. My brother was in town, as always, so me, fitz, dad, greggy and spider all gathered round the accellerant enhanced fire to sing John Denver tunes. OK, maybe that's not quite how it happened, but close. If you're interested in ordering photos from Manfest weekend, click here. |

What happens when it's too windy to cut down a tree and you have five bored guys with an aubuchon and save-a-lot nearby? Why a tater gun of course! Fitz put this bad baby together, we managed to fire off 50lbs of munitions without a single injury! |
Come 7:00pm, Fitz wanted to see if he could reach the moon with the tater gun... |

Pete and Steph were kind enough to host our clambake. Steph had that deer in the headlights look when I hit her with "hey, you mind if I cook dinner over your house?". The Whalens, of course, were perfect hosts and were most appreciated. |

While we were clambakin, a lunar eclipse was going on, which is why I was in and out of the house for a couple hours saturday night. |

Here's the Lanoue boys with the patriarch in the middle, old glory, appropriately flying in the background. A good visual indication of why no trees came down this weekend. |

The new woodstove, pressed into service for its first full mancamp weekend, performed admirably. |
