3rd Annual Manfest, 2002 |
Manfest 2002 had a different twist to it... This year, along with all the usual suspects, we were joined by the 3rd generation of mancamp attendees, that is, the yout's... Three McCarthy youts and little Matt Fitz came along for the ride. A good time had by all. The festivities took place the weekend of Nov 2nd. |

That's Pete on the left taking down yet another dead tree on 96 East Shore drive. This monster tree was SUPPOSED to fall downhill, you can see in the photo on the right where it actually went... UPHILL! |

Here's a good indication of how cold it was for manfest 2002. It was probably around 10 degrees most the day Saturday, but we still managed to get the tree down. |
Here's Chris, the pyromaniac. He was begging all weekend to light a fire, it was too windy all day saturday so chris finally got his wish on Sunday. |

Here are the yout's all ready for a gunfight! Pete brought the paintball equipment up but we never got to use the guns as it never even got close to freezing. |
There's really no delicate way to put this, this kid is strange. Here's Andrew camped out in what can best be described as a vintage 1930's sleeping bag. Next year we're taking up the "keep andy warm" fund. |

Yummmmm.... TIPS....... |
Here's my brother and I, a regular at the mancamp. That's right, even though the mancamp does have a refrigerator, we needed to have a cooler between the chairs to prevent having to get up. |
