Mancamp Lake Bucket Mouth Bass
Mancamp lake, aka Locke pond of Chesterville, Maine, hides some lunker bass in the shallows, especially active during June and July.  Here are some photos of the 3+ lb fish taken from the lake (and put back).
Alletta's first bass
Laura's first bass
Well, here they are!  My little girls both got their first large mouth lunkers this year!  Alletta caught that beast down at the north end of the lake shortly before sunset at the end of May.  Laura Loo caught that large mouth monster during July vacation right outside of Chris and Jen's place.  Brave little Laura Loo and her sister both insisted on holding their fish for the pictures, kuddos to you little rugrats!!!!
Spider and his lunker Tyler and his Lunker
The spider caught this guy on Sunday June 6th while I was windsurfing.  He caught it while trolling around the lake with his heavily weighted shad lure.    Shortly after I told Tyler and his Dad that the fish had stopped biting for the season, Tyler caught this monster.  This was caught in the middle of October, 2003.  Definitely a Fitzgerald family record at mancamp lake!
Caught this lunker over Laura's birthday, July of 2003.  He weighed in at 3.25lb.
Rich "the bass master" Lanoue showing his form here.  This guy was caught July 17th 2003.  At the time he caught this one, I had a smaller fish on the line and brought him in too.
Caught him in July 2003, unfortunately, the digital scale was underwater at the time.
I told my brother "don't bother fishing from the dock, you're not gonna catch any fish there...".  Well, after he caught about 5 of these, I figured maybe I was wrong.  That's Alletta with him, he had lots of help pulling in them lunkers..
