Weekend at Aunt Pat's, August 2002 |
|
|
|
On the Weekend of August 17th & 18th I took the girls up to Aunt Pat's house in Fairhaven, MA for a trip to Edaville Railroad in Carver and a Sunday of sun and fun. |

At least there was some relief at this place! This little swan boat pond was the only body of water in the area where we could take a dip, believe me, it did the trick! |

Laura and Alletta, on the hottest day of the year, at Edaville railroad in Carver, MA. The heat, needless to say, did not bother them at all. |

The mini-rails were a big hit with the girls, I needed a rest and they needed to play, so we hung out here for a while. |

The girls just call this "The BIG tree", this is the maple tree outfront of Aunt Pats house. I played on it as a kid as I'm sure hundreds of others have too. |

After cooling off some, Alletta decided it was time to catch some shrimp and crabs, she did quite well in the estuary at the end of Aunt Pat's road. |

At the end of the weekend we made a stop at Cox's ice cream in Fairhaven, I think this is where my folks met about a hundred years ago. |
