Presidents Day Snowstorm, 2003 |
Presidents day 2003 brought us a nasty snowstorm, it was supposed to be primarily a southern New England storm but Bedford got wrapped in an intense snowband between 6:00-10:00pm where we got 10" of snow in that short period! Final tally for the storm was 21" (compressed). |

Here's a couple of nighttime photos taken in downtown Bedford. The left photo is of the center of town and the right hand photo is of the country town market (West Bedford) during the peak of the storm. |

A couple more photos taken during the evening of Presidents day. The one on the left is of my front yard, it's a four second exposure taken through a star filter. The one on the right was taken after the snow fall started to slow down, around 11:00pm. |

Here's the view looking down the driveway the next morning. We got 21" of snowfall out of this storm, but since it was such light dry snow, we had some pretty major drifts as well. |

The next morning when I awoke, this was the view out my bedroom window! Yes, my bedroom is on the second floor ;-) That's actually snowfall that accumulated on top of the farmer's porch. |

So when I started clearing snow, I hit something that was grinding up pretty bad in the snowthrower... turns out it was a box of film I ordered from UniquePhoto, doh! |
