Dublin City.
An Irish cottage...
Population:1,000,000. Roughly a quarter of all of Ireland's population resides here.
And its most famous university, Trinity College. Founded 1592
The Trinity Arch, where I was to meet my hosts.
...on a beautiful Irish mountain lake...
...in the misty mountains where Oscar Wilde once roamed.

This tower was used to watch for Vikings. It was looted many times, and one cannot help but wonder if it might have been more effective if built on top of the hill.
This is a closer view of the Glendalough buildings.
The tower upclose.
St. Kevin's Cross. Local lore says that if you hug it and make a wish, your wish will come true.
There were falls or lakes almost everywhere we stopped.
Just one example.
Unusual hunting up in these parts.
Warming by the fire in a pub.
Lovely, lovely Ireland.
