Wine Drank by John Jaster
I went from tea totaler to Wine Century Club member and have tried 156 different wine grapes in three years.
Hardy's Whiskers Blake Classic Tawny; Gancia Prosecco and Rosso

Hardy's, Whiskers Blake, Classic Tawny (Australia) - I bought this on a whim but then was genuinely surprised and pleased with the flavor and Nancy agrees.  You get a tawny port which actually is a little like a sherry too - rich, a little granular in texture, pretty bold in flavor.  At 8 years old it's neither the youngest nor definitely oldest tawny, and let's face it Hardy's is a mass producer so probably this is a hyperblended carefully marketed product, but in this case I don't care because we genuinely enjoyed it.  8 out of 10.

Gancia, Prosecco Extra Dry & Rosso (Italy) - It is what it is, affordable ($10 or less) Italian bubbly.  The Prosecco was a dry upper average sample for 6 out of 10, but I gave the Rosso a point less (5) because it basically reminded me of a brachetto but with most of the sweet removed and potentially made from a blend of cheap grapes since they didn't bother to tell us brachetto was in it.
