Wine Drank by John Jaster
I went from tea totaler to Wine Century Club member and have tried 156 different wine grapes in three years.
Tenuta Cocci Grifoni Offida Pecorino; Chateau Saint Martin de la Garrigue Bronzinelle

Tenuta Cocci Grifoni, Colle Vecchio, Offida Pecorino, 2006 (Italy) - The latest sampled in our tasting group at work, Pecorino is an ancient rare white variety.  Having some citrus and saltiness it was quite refreshing and genuinely agreed by all in our group, some of whom event wanted to give it an extra star rating on our chart.  I enjoyed this but the cost was over $20 and personally I'd just call it upper average for that price, so 6 out of 10.

Chateau Saint Martin de la Garrigue, Bronzinelle, 2006 (Languedoc, France) - This was store recommended and at around $15 it was really an excellent find.  I think the blend features a good amount of Syrah and this wine is rich, bold, fresh, flavorful, really a joy of a red to drink.  Worth repeating again and again.  7 out of 10 for above average.
