Wine Drank by John Jaster
I went from tea totaler to Wine Century Club member and have tried 156 different wine grapes in three years.
Barbadillo Pedro Ximenez Sherry; TBD Rouge; Camelot Vineyards Chardonnay

Barbadillo, Pedro Ximenez Sherry (Spain) - Twice I have reviewed this brand's higher end Pedro Ximenez ("La Cilla") and given it a perfect 10 score for it's rich opulent flavor.  This current sample, however, is priced about $10 less and is simply a less aged version of the grape.  Although still sweet and tasty it lacks the complexity.  Easily this is 1/10th the intensity of flavor as La Cilla is.  Don't get me wrong, it's still a nice sweet sherry, but if you can get the joy of La Cilla for just $10 more then it's a shame to drink this weaker version instead.  6 out of 10 for upper average.

DnA Vineyards, TBD Rouge, 2007 (Lodi, California) - TBD is a Trader Joe's cheap wine which packs a surprising punch for the price.  A blend of Zinfandel, Petite Syrah, and Malbec it's a big fruit bomb of a wine and really quite tasty.  I highly recommend this to anyone liking big and bold reds.  7 out of 10 for above average.  And a phenomenally low priced wine (between $5 and $10 if I remember right).

Camelot Vineyards, Chardonnay, 2006 (California) - Another very cheap white found at Trader Joe's.  Acceptable and enjoyable but clearly just a 5 out of 10 for lower average.  Let's say the naming of this vineyard seems more grand than the product they're turning out, but hey it's a start.
