Wine Drank by John Jaster
I went from tea totaler to Wine Century Club member and have tried 156 different wine grapes in three years.
Craftsman Kiralyleanyka; Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay; Black Opal Chardonnay

Craftsman, Kiralyleanyka, 2006 (Hungary) - This is a new grape to me and is described on the back label as light and reminiscent of Chenin Blanc and Viognier.  I can see that although it's too light and dry to have the finer qualities of either of those grapes.  Nancy did not like this, we both thought it was a little bitter.  I drank the rest of it and in time I saw past the bitterness and got hints of citrus and salt.  But the truth is neither of us were moved by this grape so I'll score this just 5 out of 10 for lower average.

Lindemans Bin 65 Chardonnay, 2007 (South Eastern Australia) - This was part of a set of inexpensive Australian Chardonnays I bought to try.  It was drinkable but unremarkable and simply 5 out of 10 for low average.

Black Opal, Chardonnay, 2005 (South Eastern Australia) - This was yet another inexpensive Australian Chardonnay I bought to compare, and this one was a dollar or two more than the others.  It made no difference.  It was drinkable but unremarkable and simply 5 out of 10 for low average.
