I also get paid very well ,over $2,000.00 a day . My cameras rent for over $1,500.00 a day.
My biggest problem is that movies eventually end . I end up sitting at home and watching cable and eating. I need to fill my down time with something creative and fun. I have decided to help the little productions and assist them in anyway that I can. My promise to you is to help make your movie better .
I will also never leave you hanging. If I get a "paying job" while I am shooting your show. I will either finish your movie or replace myself with sombody as good as I am.
The following are demands. They seem harsh. I have to do that because people think that they are not solid rules and are negotiable...They are not.
Here are my conditions.
A: NO DAMN VIDEO . That includeds HD / DV/ MINI DV.
99% of all video features FAIL. If you are too stupid too see that ,
you are too stupid for me to work with.
B: Here are your Prices:
1. Me alone $ 200.00 a day
2. If you want a 16mm sound camera $200.00 including me
3. If you want a SUPER 16mm camera $300.00 a day including me
4. If you want a 35mm camera $400.00 a day including me
5 . If you want a 35mm sound camera $500.00 a day including me
These prices are based on a 5 day week
C. I need 2 crew members of my choice (gaffer and 1st camera assistant) paid at $125. a day each . (that is $250. a day for both)
D. I need 4 dedicated crew menbers for the grip and camera department. They must be at work all day every day and not work n any other department. I dont care if they are free crew menbers
E.You have to shoot around MY regular paying shows I do this between my regular work.
I LIKE making pretty pictures and hate sitting at home
