Head Instructor PSBN John Gragowski

PSBN John Gragowski began his martial arts training at the age of 4 while his father was stationed in Germany.  He trained for a total of 3 years in Hapkido.  His father was then relocated to San Antonio Texas.  Unable to find a Hapkido instructor PSBN John started to train in Tae Kwon Do.  He earned the rank of first degree black belt at the age of 11 in Tae Kwon Do.  Shortly thereafter he relocated to Naples Italy where he continued to train by himself and with friends.  This independant study was continued untill PSBN John moved to attend college at Texas Tech University.  He then began to study Kuk Sool Won under PSBN Steffen Kellogg.  In the summer of 2001 he was promoted to first dan black belt in the traditional Korean martial art Kuk Sool Won. He was then promoted to second dahn in the summer of 2005 and third dahn at the 50th anniversary of Kuk Sool Won in Oct 2008.  KSN John Gragowski previously operated he only official Kuk Sool Won school in Virginia while he attended school to complete the requirements for his M.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the George Washington University extension JIAFS.  He has since graduated and moved to California to work for Lockheed Martins as an aircraft conceptual designer. He taught Kuk Sool Won on Edwards Air Force Base for one year. When this commute became too long he opened his third school location in Elizabeth lake where he currently resides and teaches.
