Attendees this year were met with a higher, faster and stained river this time around. The fishing pattern was a bit different with less surface strikes and a few less (but not many less) fish. The average size of the fish seemed to be a bit larger, with 3 fish being landed that were 15". This resulted is a 2 way tie for the Big Fish Award. Joe caught 2 fish at 15" so the trophy went to him (or at least to Oree for him to hold for Joe). Also many of the Festers spent much of their time using fly gear*.

Noteable highlights included:
A yummy Cajun meal prepared by Oree and Joe.
Rhino caught 2 fish on 1 crankbait and the same time (TWICE!). His bait of choice: Norman's Tiny 'N' in whte and silver (of course).
This was the first outing for his new 'Rhino' rod and reel combo which Don lost soon thereafter. (Sorry man. A new one's comin')
A number of HUGE catfish caught on the fly. If memory serves, a couple over 24". How'd it taste guys?
