Grenada - Alha-(yawn)-mbra
In the early morning, it was still dark out; we all got on the bus in Sevilla for our trip to Grenada.  This was a long trip.  As soon as we got off the bus we went straight to our tour of the Alhambra.  The famous palace that was the seat of the last Moorish caliph of Spain.  The country of Grenada was taken in 1492 by Ferdinand and Isabella.  The Alhambra is a beautiful example of Moorish art and architecture, but the day was a little obscured by the rain and dreariness that kept us out of the open areas of the palace.
From the Alhambra, we saw the gypsy caves and a lot of the city since it was situated above the city.  We also learned a lot about muslim art.
After the tour we made it to the hotel, but we really did not feel like going out.  We spent the night in our rooms.  I tried to order pizza, but I failed and nothing was delivered.  It was kind of a wasted day.  All of us on the trip did not think that Grenada was a city that we spent a night in.  We thought it could be a day trip or something else instead of a whole day in a city that only had one point of interest, The Alhambra.
