The Finishing Touches
Here are more pictures of the completed car. I agonized over putting a striping kit on. I didn't want to look too 'gimiky' and played with a graphics program until I thought I had one that would work. I went with a silver stripe because I thought that white was just a little too bold. After the kit was on, the grates just begged to be painted the same colour as the stripe.

This was the car before the adding the striping kit. It was just a little too 'bland'.

The wing is from an '82 Firebird. I liked its balance with the lines.
The factory wing seemed too big for the scale of the car.

Rims are from a Plymouth Laser. I stripped and repainted them.

I added a fake 'Holley' scoop. This one is from Fiero Conversions in Windsor. It is a fibreglass copy painted
to match the car. I love the shine. It was hard to take pictures without getting my reflection.
Even compressed, you can see a friendly poodle's tail in the paint in the picture.
