| For many years we set aside a date in December to celebrate our Lord's birth. Then the wordly people decided that it was not a birthday celebration but more of a commercial buying frenzy, and to lie to children about a man in a red suit bearing gifts. No gift compares to the gift of Jesus, our Redeemer, our Savior, our Advocate, our Good Shepherd,our Prince of Peace, the Lion of Judah, our High Priest, our God. So now sadly, there's a movement among "christians" to take God totally out of Christmas and have no celebration, Which is entirely up to them but sadly they try to force this way onto other Christians Well, Jesus was born, He does have a birth day. Dec. 25th is not the day, but why can't we set it aside to celebrate and remember that babe born in Bethlehem is with us now in all His glory sitting at the right hand of the Father, waiting for His Father to tell Him to go get His bride. Celebrate Jesus, worship the Lord. No matter who is with you or not with you during the holidays, keep your focus on Jesus. Don't let anyone tell you how you should not celebrate the Lord's birthday. Christ is in our hearts, only God can see into our hearts, not any man. Jesus came to set us free. Don't let man put you into bondage. Jesus had to deal with those "religious" spirits, He knows what they do to our spirit and freedom. Let this December 25th be the best birthday celebration ever. Jesus lives, He is the Alpha and the Omega, the everlasting One. He is alive and reigns forever more, allow Him to reign in your heart. Grow in the word. Become sons and daughters of the Most High. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. He makes the crooked path straight. In Him all things are possible. Let Him reign in your home this Christmas season and every season of your life. Peace that surpasses all understanding only comes from God. |
