November 9th, 2003. We went to Pittsburgh to see a Steelers game. This is the first time I have seen the Steelers live since I was born. Sorry, I didn't get any pictures, but we had a total blast and they won too!
November 23rd, 2003. We were in Philly and Lisa and I went over to New Jersey to run in an orienteering meet. We selected the blue course, which is the most advanced and finished in a little over 3 hours. We were last in that division, but we had a blast. I lost my fanny pack for a while, but found it quickly using my awesome navigation skills.
Thanksgiving at Bob's sister's house. Good food. Nice house. Good time. Played a game like win, lose or draw.
Friday after Thanksgiving we had a surprise shower for Adrianne.
Christmas. Had a nice quiet dinner at home. Then Santa came.
Went to Pgh for New Year's. Jim had the party this year. Stayed until the 4th.
January 2004 - I have received orders to ESU New Orleans. I took a trip down there at the beginning of February and ordered a house. We are having one built for us. It should be great. A 4 br 2.5, ba, 2 car garage, 2500+ sq ft behemoth. We are very excited.
February 2004 - Adrianne and Frank's wedding down in Mexico was a total blast. The weather was perfect, the drinks were flowing and the wedding was quite a party. All the travel went off without a hitch and we all had plenty to do. Lisa and I tried parasailing. Brandi swam a lot and did some pottery. Shauni did some pottery and crushed on the bell boy. A very good time.
April 2004 - Brandi had her Arlington Echo overnight field trip at the beginning of April. I went along as a chaperone and had a very good time. There were 7 kids in our group and even though the weather was somewhat cold, we had a good time and learned a lot about our environment and how to care for it.
April 2004 - We traveled to Cape May Court House to have a rainy Easter meal at Elana's. The food was good as usual.
May 2004 - Closed on the new house in Slidell, LA. I like it.
May 2004 - We went to Pittsburgh so the girls could see Megan go to the prom, but really for Lisa and I to do the Pittsburgh Urban Race Extreme (PURE) an urban adventure race put on by American Adventure Sports. It was a hellava time. We got to travel all over the burg on bikes and on foot. I never thought I could walk from Homestead to South Side before, but we did. The rivers were too high to Kayak, but the race was a great success.
We also got to meet Hunter, the newest member of the Harold clan.
November 2005 - This site was neglected somewhat when we were in Louisiana, but I should be able to keep it up better now. A lot has happened since I last updated this page. We had a house built in Slidell Louisiana and moved there. I received orders back to the North in January of 2005 and we are now back in another house that we bought in the same are we lived in last time. It is good to be back "home". Lisa and I ran another race in Early August in PA and had a real good time. We don't know how much longer we will be able to do these races, but we are still at it.
