While there are many wonderful, deserving projects going for sick and disadvantaged children, lets stop a while and give a thought to the much forgotten senior generations of our world.. There are many elderly citizens living in residential homes, some of whom even have no families to visit them. With the best intentions in the world, many elderly people can feel lonely, and forgotten. Taking an idea from the fantastic quilt projects we have seen organised worldwide on the internet, we thought it would be nice to put together a collection of stitched items to be donated to residential homes throughout the UK.
