This is the original Mercedes Formula 1 race car. Ever wondered why it is famous for it silver appearance ? (Silver Arrows). The story is simple, after Mercedes developed a new race car to enter the Formula 1 race, they naturally painted the car. Unfortunately (or fortunately) ,one day prior to the race they realised that they were just a little overweight and will be disqualified from the race even if they won it.Meddling with the internal mechanism of the car will not be a good idea so they scraped off the paint instead and gave it a shining silver appearance. It won the race and therefore the silver colour remain as it was their lucky colour.
This is a specially made car for Royalty. I am not too sure if this is the car from the German ruler or the car which they gave to the Emperor of Japan as a gift. I am quite sure it is the car from the Japanese Emperor.
