| This probably does have a real name, but I have no clue what it would be. If you've got any suggestions, let me hear 'em! Oh, and this is a microwave recipe. You can try putting it in the oven, but I can't guarantee the results. You will need: Bananas (bet you figured that one out already) - at least one per serving Orange juice Rum Ginger Snaps Microwaveable dishes. Banana split dishes are nice for individual servings, but you can make one big dish if you want. Microwave Peel the bananas and slice lenghtways. Arrange slices artfully in dish. Mix the orange juice and the rum. About a tablespoon each per banana should do it. Feel free to use more rum. Or for a family-friendly dish, try mixing orange juice and lemonade, or using the orange juice by itself. Sprinkle the orange juice mixture over the bananas. You have to sprinkle. Pouring doesn't count. Crumble the ginger snaps and sprinkle over the bananas. Yes, there is a lot of sprinkling involved in this recipe. Microwave on high for about 35 seconds per banana, unless you have a really old sorry microwave like mine, in which case it takes longer. Serve warm. |
